We all hate the Storm but geez, I would of loved if Harry Grant was our 9.

He was in the Broncos system. How do we continue to keep losing these great players? Its astounding.

Was he?

1910 tells it that his dad was best mates with Paul Bunn or something, and the broncos were never really a chance to get him.

If they're claiming him because he played through the falcons, then that's rubbish, because Storm were with falcons for ages and he's from Hervey Bay

I really want it for Benny...not just for the "redemption" (although I will die on this hill, as will Hodgo, that he didn't cost us that GF...he shouldn't have been in that position) but for the absolute wanker Dragon supporters that blame him for every bad thing that happened to the club while he was there. Those wankers who would rather point the finger at him instead of the shitty front office that hired spud coaches and spud players to put around him. It's a team game, one guy can't do it all himself and even then he was comfortably their best player for 90% of his tenure there.

I will absolutely concede that the last 12months of his time at St George, specifically his attitude when talking to the media (talking about wanting to move back to QLD etc) was a horrible look and tbh, they should have turfed him then. But no, Flanno wanted to talk to him and blah ****ing blah, I'll put people around him blah blah...he put his son next to him ffs and everything that went wrong, he blamed on Ben. Never mind the fact that Ben topped the league for try assists that year. But yeah...he was the issue.

Just watching Grant on channel 9 the interview with him and Bellamy and he mentioned he was a Broncos fan etc

I look at hunts drop completely differently to most, as probably you do too. We dont make the GF that year without hunt. It was 1 error and even though people say it cost us the game.. we had 78 minutes of play beforehand to dust the cowboys. They won fair and square, and JT winning a premiership isn't such a bad thing.

Harry was never at the Broncos, went to St Brendan's at Yeppoon- same school as Oates and Hunt but also same school that Bunn taught at too before he came down here to get a job at Redcliffe.

Bunn and Paul Grant are mates, and he signed Harry to the Storm at 16. Could have been the Broncos, Bunn promised him that I will sign you to the club I am working at when you turn 16. Bunn moved to the Storm in 2011.

Anyone see a channel 9 interview with Billy? Saying apparently madge has named him in the extended squad and made him chief motivation officer. He's a big part of why we are here and I'm glad madge has given him a role to play in the GF. I bet he has the boys red lining come sunday

I thought the game was done as soon as it went to golden point... dropping the kick off was the nail, but I don't blame Benny... also after that game I'm pretty sure they changed the rules to extra time... so broncos the guinea pigs to force a rule change again.

Real point that we lost it was when Macca didn't pass it to Parker off the linebreak ... he was under the posts latish in the game (can't remember the time of it, because I've never watched the game again)

Madge won an origin decider for NSW at Suncorp... bloke knows how to get a squad up for a game... they'll be breathing fire on Sunday.

Only hope the ref knows his role and stays the **** out of it.... unless broncos need a penalty of course 😉

Round 25 2022 they had a similar strength team (against Eels) they were outside the top 4 from memory?

Round 25 2021 they had a similar strength team (against Sharks, which have been their bogey team) they were locked in top 4 from memory?

They rested everyone round 26 this year, I understand what your saying and you're probably right.

I choose to believe they didn't want to face us in a finals game (after 2023), I wouldn't want to play against us either.
