Obviously Joyce and Curtin go out but who does Berry replace? McKenna?

McKenna as the sub incase Berry goes down again. To me Joyce seems pretty reliable down back now though.

There are no subs anymore. It’s a five man bench now.

I saw someone suggested giving McCarthy a rest and that isn’t a bad idea. He looked really slow and tired last night.
 
Awful kicking by the lions. Not sure why the lions refuse to drop punt for set shots at goal
 
Again, no stress yet. We've had so much chopping and changing due to injuries, they still need time to gel. We're right in this despite not playing well. We have such a good team.

Good team except for tunstill. That guy does my head in. How is he always first picked when an injury happens

Yeah its strange. I'd be keen to see either of Brain or one of the draftee smalls trialled over him. Tunstill is just so average.

But consider, we still have to come back:

Zorko
Hipwood
Gallop
Allen
Payne
Berry
Answerth

That’s pretty much game. Tunstill ruined our momentum in the second
 
Again, don't stress. I expected to lose this one. We haven't been great all year and Geelong could not be playing better. The frees are all going one way too. Three missed clear 50 metre penalties while we were coming on and one turned into a goal the other way. So that's 24 points right there.
 
Plus Curtin and Tunstill are offering nothing and our mids just can't be bothered defending.
 
Yeah that was a rubbish game. The side just didn't want to be there. I'm still not worried of course, this side is still the best in it. A lot of troops to return and quite a few players who will step up when the whips start cracking.

Geelong could not have played better but still couldn't crack us until we decided to put the cue in the rack.

McCluggage, Fletcher and Rayner are having shocking seasons. WAshcroft is banged up. Morris keeps getting his head taken off but can't buy a free. These things will change.

We still also have a LOT of cavalry to return.
 
We have a huge month coming up with some tough opposition. Hopefully can get a couple of wins without injuries and then put a cricket score on Richmond.
