Next week I'm cracking open the Lagavulin 16 year if they get up.
I reckon they will. It will be a tough ask though, Sydney will be very fresh and we are pretty banged up. They have just as much of a point to prove as we do too after 2022 for them.

You guys should also check out David King's comments on Fagan, that bloke will be torn to shreds this week and it will be fun to watch. Has been backpedalling all week and feeling smug when Geelong was 25 up. This will be fun.

Seems like it’s been a lions master stroke recruiting stuart dew as an assistant coach. Apparently helping a lot with skills and tactics. Hope he sticks around for a few seasons.
On another note, The afl finals are something else compared to the nrl. The atmosphere is incredible. The games have been highly entertaining.

Unless the Broncs are playing, I'm an AFL man these days. The NRL is unwatchable in its current state.

Shattering for the Big O. He’s been good all year. Darcy Fort will come in and provide a big body around the contest. Grundy will likely run him off his feet though.

We’ve done it before though with Grundy and losing our ruck. Basically we just get Fort to push him around us much as possible but let Grundy win every tap, we just read it and react, essentially neutralise the hit out.
We have to shut down Heeney and we’ve done it before several times. Shut him down, we win.

Not a popular opinion here but AFL is the better game. It wasn’t but Vlandys has destroyed NRL and AFL has picked up the slack. If The Broncos ever folded I would never watch another game of NRL.

the skill level required for AFL is insane let alone the endurance factor. There’s just no where to hide in the big games. Every single player and coach has to be firing every minute in order to get points. Even the physio’s are non stop. It’s mind blowing.

Its a popular opinion with me. I couldn't care less that I'm on a league forum, I'm happy to cop whatever comes back my way.
I really hope that NRL can come to its senses and cut off its toxic head but I don't see it happening.
