AFL Brisbane Lions - 2025 AND 2024 Premiers

I'd love to see us play Neale and just ask him to be a missile. Go out there and skittle as many players as he can for as long as he can and then sub in Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuce.

Harris Andrews for norm smith

Yeah wouldn't that be a crowning achievement.

Fagan said Neale is LIKELY to be right to go. He did a searching fitness test yesterday and got through totally fine. Crazy.

He's not a missile. He's a hunter. He hunts the ball and gets it out. He's only small asking him to skittle people is crazy. We've got Rayner to do that

Nope, he's short but he's not small, he's a nugget...and he's done it before. Plus Geelong wouldn't expect it.

nervous as for this

geelong are good

Everything is gona have to go right

We won’t get caught with our pants down again. It’s going to be an epic game. If we can stay with them, I think we come home over the top. Their draw makes this way more even than it has any right to be. The fact we are a legit chance despite our injuries is just nuts. We’re a champion team for a reason and if we throw everything at it, even banged up, I’m not sure they can go with us whereas I think we can go with them.

It’s quite extraordinary we’re in another grand final with the injuries we have. But what if we lose this one without having our best team on the field? how does it effect our legacy going 1 from 3?

I having ptsd of 2023 with lions and broncos bowing out together

Yeah I hear you about the 2023 vibes. At least this time it isn’t two days apart but crazy Broncs are up against the Panthers on a Sunday again. I think losing this year to Geelong would be understandable given the gulf in list health. I would be surprised if we aren’t back here again next year though.

But I think the history beckoning for this group wouldn’t be lost on them. I’m quite confident. This team likes to proof being written off wrong.

Haha how the heck does that win goal of the year? Could not have picked something more meh. Wow.

And now you have a guy who didn't even catch it winning mark of the year. What the hey, know your own product, goodness me.

Are any of our guys in the hunt for the Brownlow? I don’t want the curse.

Matt Rowell was 50 to 1 and won by the length of the straight. Polled 3 votes numerous tilmes in games he didnt even have 20 disposals. His teammate had a better year according to his own fans.

The umpires are nearly as bad as the nrls voting cohort. It cant be that hard of a job. The reserve umpire/ref watches the game and they decide the points.

Its not rocket science.

Yeah it was pretty funny to watch. I actually do think he’s a ok winner but not by the margin he had. He got three votes (the most you can get) in a game where his team lost by 50.

Said teammate though won goal of the year for the most boring, run of the mill goal you’ll see thirty times a week. The Suns are this year’s media darling that’s for sure.
