I don’t follow AFL all that closely but this fixture for the Lions at ‘Get together round’ or whatever the **** this Claytons Magic Round thing is in Adelaide seems like an outright insult..
They’re the two-time defending champions and the heavyweights to make it three in a row, and they’re sent out to some paddock in the middle of the ****ing nowhere in the middle of the ****ing day for the ‘skank shift’ time slot game against North ****ing Melbourne?!!
Do the 24-carat c**nts in AFL HQ really think this much of the Brisbane Lions ?

You know how we often say the NRL is actually the NSWRL? It’s the same with the AFL except it’s the VFL masquerading as the AFL.

Absolutely. The current admin of the AFL is almost as bad as Vlandal and his talking puppet. Its one of the big unknowns how the current AFL CEO got the gig. He is incompetent and has no personality.

I don't know where else to put it but that is close to one of the worst things I have seen on a sporting field last night.
Heads should roll in the Carlton football club from the medical staff to their coaches. Elijah Hollands is lucky he is not seriously hurt. He is lucky he didnt touch the ball or get near it.
It actually looks like the opposition was avoiding him and his teammates were too. That was crazy.
That was bush league shit. Actually teams in bush leagues wouldnt allow a dude clearly off his head to continue to play.

Yeah, for people more ITK with AFL - What's the go with this guy? Something was wayyyyy off. Pretty disturbing videos going around of him really. For him to play 60% of the match like that is crazy. I read something about him having some mental health stuff going on which is really concerning they thought he was okay to play...

He has had problems before with drugs, alcohol and anxiety from what I can gather. Im more a casual viewer of AFL but I know that he was delisted end of last year but somehow worked his way back into the squad after that.
He clearly has fallen off the wagon in some way. I been around guys on benders and on come downs and that looked exactly like somebody going through one.
They mentioned his heart rate and how he wasnt sleeping i think? So why did you play him? Where is the duty of care? There is vision before the game of people avoiding him and him not being able to walk properly and missing the goal from 30m out by 40m. Coaches right in front of him. Nobody said anything? Its bizarre. Its not like his a star either. He isnt making that big of a difference even if he had all of his shit together
