I'd prefer it if he pulled his finger out and did it to the opposition actually lol. In all seriousness, It would be great to see Parker get back to form and actually be useful instead of making no meters, not offloading, and coming into tackles when 2 blokes already have it wrapped up. The form he was in late 2006. That said, I don't think he is the player to take on Tunzas old role, I reckon Setu or even Thaiday are ideal candidates for that job.

I think he lacked confidence last year because of his knee injury more than anything. I hope he pulls his finger out and shows us what he's made of this year. He's better than he showed.

And he did just that in 2007. He was probably our form forward behind Petero that year. I think that's why his shit year last year was so hard to take. It was SO far behind what he produced in 2007 it's not funny.

He had a great first game then when he did his knee it went from there. I think the psychological damage it did was greater than anyone can understand. Particularly after breaking his arm in the first round of 07.

I wouldn't be surprised if he makes it through Round 1 unscathed this season he'll get back to somewhere near his best.
