I've been disappointed with his development this season. He's a quality athlete but he's still learning how to apply it on the field. He was meant to be one of the best prospects in MM Cup but he only managed to live up to the reputation on one occasion.

Still, he has all the qualities you want in a winger. Players like Sisa Waqa, Suliasi Vunivalu etc. all took time. I'd certainly have him in my pre-season camp with a view that he could be a starting winger by 2025.

I agree, really disappointed. I cut him some slack in Meninga because it wasn't the same team as last season, but Colts has been really slow going too. The one bright light was his Cup debut which he handled goodish.

13 games across three comps in a year isn't good value and he's missed the last month now too.

Souths might sneak into the 8 and he plays Colts finals- maybe. I keep reminding myself he didn't play League from 12-16 so there is massive gaps in his league knowledge and game.

Norths was his best game in Meninga and Wynnum his best game in Colts.

He would be dumb to not instruct his manager to get a rough estimate of worth. No way he'll leave, he won't have Adam Reynolds anywhere else and there really isn't a better halves mentor to play alongside in the game.

Slothfield is taking the piss if he thinks we will give ARey a 150k a season pay rise. nor will ARey request a pay rise. he is a very loyal and club Oriented person. he won't ask for an excessive contract, especially if it costs us the likes of Mam

Reynolds has made a fortune, has a post-playing career lined up and is the team likely to challenge Penrith for the foreseeable future, he has every reason to take less to stay and make they happen in the back end of his career. Money won’t be his focus.

We have lost flegler, farnworth and paliasia, with Reynolds and tapau likely downgrades, along with capewell likely to be on a little bit less by the time his contracts up.
We have replaced flegler, farnworth and paliasia with fletcher baker (prob less then paliasia), te kura will get promoted (probably on a third of flegler, and leota or a journeyman comes in for farnworth.

In what realm of reality would we be strapped for cash.. there's easily a spare 1.5-2 million per year left over in that scenario. That's not even factoring the salary cap increase and players like pates going into the "loyalty" or whatever bracket.

These guys just want to sell papers, so they talk absolute made up shit. We will lose a player somewhere but it won't be because we are strapped for cash, it's because we aren't a dumb, stupid club now who overpays for players.

I dont think we are strapped for cash, but we have upgraded Carrigan, Jensen and Mariner and we have players to keep also. Mam is worth a lot more than he was previously, Haas we know wants over a million, Piakura will want more money and he will get it elsewhere if he doesnt get it here. Riki needs a new contract and will want more. Only Reynolds and possible Capewell out of our off contract players are the ones we could see accepting less. The 2 i am most concerned about are Mam and Piakura because their contracts could easily get a lot bigger, especially Mam seeing as good halves are in short supply.

We also need to keep an eye on 2025. Cobbo, Walsh, Staggs, Hetherington, Mozer, Oates, Willison and Jensen all off contract. Thats a lot of talent there to try to keep and we probably need to upgrade every one, especially if we win a premiership.
