I hope he’s wrapped up well before then. I’d hate to see another Walsh type saga. But seriously no matter who goes to the coast they’ll never win anything. Why risk your career going down the toilet at such an early stage?
I'd be spending extra cash on cobbo well before mozer too. I don't care if a kid is Darren lockyers literal clone, until they prove themselves over a couple of seasons there's no bidding wars from our club. It's a privilege to play for us, and you have to earn a big contract, it's not a right no matter your potential. That's bottom feeder crap that I hope we never go back to.The broncs don't need to be throwing the kitchen sink at mozer just yet. I want Walsh locked down for 5 years before that happens.
Anyone know what this is about?

The Roosters are going to be on the Hunt for a outside back/fullback and will have a fair bit of money to spend in the next few seasons.I'd be spending extra cash on cobbo well before mozer too. Well, Sloshfield has already started laying the groundwork on this very subject in his latest gossip column for uncle Nick - making a play for Cobbo, that is.The Roosters are going to be on the Hunt for a outside back/fullback and will have a fair bit of money to spend in the next few seasons.
Manu leaving, Tedesco nearing the end and Suuali going to union.
Roosters wouldn't be the place for Cobbo though but they will be after someone. Wouldn't be surprised if they have a crack at Walsh to bump up what we have to pay but I'd hope he'd be extended way before then.
Can't see Cobbo ever leaving Queensland, or the Broncos.Well, Sloshfield has already started laying the groundwork on this very subject in his latest gossip column for uncle Nick - making a play for Cobbo, that is.
I'm happy to give the guy a shot at least and see what he's got available. We might have a real weapon there and will benefit from having him.Panthers extend former Bulldogs star as cover for May; Cowboys’ bid to keep gun: Transfer Whispers

Sydney would chew Cobbo up and spit him out. Wouldn't be a good place for Cobbo.Well, Sloshfield has already started laying the groundwork on this very subject in his latest gossip column for uncle Nick - making a play for Cobbo, that is.
Unfortunately Uncle Nick does not give a shit about that... he'd probably see it as taking a top player away from a competitor weakening that team and then knowing he can get rid of that contract if it ever goes tits up... the player lands on the scrap heap, but Uncle Nick doesn't care and just moves onto the next.Sydney would chew Cobbo up and spit him out. If Mozer leaves because he thinks that he can be gifted a bench spot due to media reports and not performance then good riddance. Thankfully Kevy is not that weak and wont be extorted by players who have proven nothing. If we lose Mozer because Kevvie refused to even give him a bench spot over plodders like Smoothy, I will not be happy.
One thing is for sure like all our players, their value only increases with time. Staggs or Cobbo will be the choice unless Staggs wants to take a significant haircut.Sydney would chew Cobbo up and spit him out. Wouldn't be a good place for Cobbo.
