I would hate to not see Mozer make the team next year, but if it means we can pick up the likes of Jibasaki and Patston for cheap it would be worth it for that second row depth we so desperately need.

Hi guys, as for the rumour about Blake Mozer being loaned out for 12 months, there are discussions currently between Souths and Brisbane for a Mozer/Euan Aitken swap. Aitken I assume to play edge/2nd row for you. Will update if I hear more.

Aitken has basically spent the last 2 years injured.

Yup, seems a strange one. Mozer presumably to replace Brandon Smith. Aitken is pretty decent when he's not injured so could add some value on ghe cheap.

Agree that Aitken is decent when he's healthy, but he's played like 14-15 games for each of the last 2 seasons.

I also just would not trust Wayne with one of our players... he'd either try and poach him or chuck him into reserve grade and give him the Dodd treatment... he cannot be trusted at all... especially with a broncos prospect.

He also spends all his time taking pot shots via his ass buddy Crawls... so **** him.

You would hope that the club is smart enough to realise that... the bridges have been burnt to a crisp... twice.

Should not even contemplate doing any business with Wayne... and even then half their team has been injured for 2 seasons straight... why would anyone trust a young guy (who's getting shoulder surgery) with a medical team that last year decided to send Graham for near season ending surgery like a week out from the season starting... when he got the injury in like September the previous year.

If Mozer isn't playing regular first grade next year he needs to be playing 9 at whatever feeder team Duffy or Black are at, whoever is the leader to take over Reynolds in the 7.
Build that 7 and 9 combination.

Absolutely. If this is even being considered, let alone become a done deal, all the good strides our club has made in the R&R space this year will be well undone.

Especially when the young guy in question plays the position that we've not had a premier starter in since Priddis in the early 00's.

Berro was probably the best since Priddis, but that was because of injuries and only short lived.

They already do that; he plays with Black now. 11 of Black's 21 Cup games have been with Mozer.

Man, IF we’re that desperate, I would not prefer anyone of our contracted players to a club that old Fox at. Tell him that Paix is all his If he wants one. The only club we would consider any favors is the Warriors but I don’t reckon they’re in need of a 9.
