I was kinda thinking the same .
His kicking is very good and a good defender .

He’s nothing like hetherington, he is that Jacob Preston Boyd Cordner safe as nails type second rower. I cannot believe we ever let him go. I would choose him over all of our current second rowers.

Or clifford? He is serviceable option that can do a job until a permanent is ready, is mature with experience and has a big boot to assist with the territory game. It looks like cowboys are hoping to transition purdue into the halves now, and he is available next year.

Also would expect low cost so wouldn't stress the Cap.

Yep but again, we let a reliable player go for a "talented players with potential" in riki and piakura (which cost more on the cap).

He is safe as nails but with attacking upside too. Whereas our backrow is made up of battlers who are also unreliable.

Is what it is.

The club has had heaps of issues with either publicly bagging the coach or leaking issues to the media.

Seibs was run into the ground by players.
Kev was openly bagged for the first 2 seasons then sacked when they stopped playing for him.
Now more rumours of players sooking and Marty being a flop on social media.

Someone has to draw a line in the sand.
