Lol.

I heard it from him. Our dachshunds play together from time to time at the dog park in Clontarf.

We’ve had a good conversation about some of the issues at the Broncos, some he heard from Herbie.

There’s an arrogance among the playing group and it’s one of the reasons why opposition teams love getting up for us. They love putting us in our place.

Did he name anyone specifically? Herbie is still all over them all on social media, at least publicly.

Our team's arrogance wouldn't hold a candle to Penrith, Cronulla, or the Roosters (IMO), so I'm pretty shocked to hear this. We actually come across as submissive scaredy cats.

PS haha - the irony of discussing arrogance while your dachshunds play. Dachshunds are fuelled by arrogance and misplaced confidence (cute though)!

I would imagine playing in front of a decent crowd every game at Suncorp would be a massive reason why everyone is always up for our game.

Arrogance without anything to back it up, just the most quality humans. No wonder they routinely drive us and their coaches nuts.

Clean. Them. Out.

Sign josh Kerr, Katoa and lure Herbie home.

Don’t all QLD clubs perceive us as arrogant. Isn’t that part of the tradition

Broncos players do get a lot of things at Brisbane players at other clubs dont get. Players i know who have left the Broncos cant believe how much they used to get at Brisbane compared to their new clubs. Thats probably why we are perceived as arrogant.

I've got no doubts we have an element that are a bit entitled. Its been going on for years and we have certain players who are treated differently from others. That would be known in the game, and Kerr would have a valid point about that sort of thing.

People like Kerr are simply lying though if they reckon they wouldn't sign for us. They would jump at the chance if it got offered unless money isnt the main thing on his mind. If he wants to continue playing NRL, he will go wherever he gets offered a contract.

And Jibasaki - I really like Jibasaki.
I honestly can't believe there is not even anything in rumour departments.

Jiba doesn't have a job as of Nov 1 this year and his brother is the best outside back at the club he was affiliated to as a junior.

@1910 is there any insight on what's going on?

Has he fallen off a cliff in Townsville to be getting no attention and seemingly plummetting down the depth chart of edge backrowers in Nth Qld?

Other than him just wanting to stay in his home base of Tville... is there any other reason he's not had his manager at least reach out to broncos?

I know right? We are screaming out for backrowers, NQ have them coming out of their ears. He gets to come play in the same team as Gibasaki as well, surely it wouldn't take much to get him.

His form this year at the Pride is certainly not what it was last year at the Cutters. But I have put that down to the Pride not being too settled and the whole team leaving last year. If he got a run of games with Duffy I think things would improve. Cutter moved him into the middle last year when they needed wins, and they won he just has such a massive influence on his teams.

He's 20 next week so certainly not all lost he's still learning but for me his form line is just too exciting to ignore. A huge kid that can move from an edge to a middle and always wins and influences games is hard to ignore.

22- Meninga Grand Final- lost but scored two tries.
22- Country captain with Purdue in the side won 38-20
23- Meninga finals- 50m try against Ipswich backing up the middle from the kickoff. Then out runs everyone- it's great for a front row to even be there supporting a break down the left let alone run the 50m when the ball comes back to him.
23-Meninga Grand Final-lost but was captain and front row.
23- Meninga player of the year
23- Colts Grand Final- won, front row and captain, MOTM, two tries- 40-0 at 18 in Under 21.
23- Cup debut May v PNG- four games off the bench at 17 years old.
24-Moves to Cutters and scores 6 tries in first five Cup games down the left edge.

He's now played 29 Cup games since May 2022 and one NRL game. I don't necessarily think he should have played more NRL by now, but I think he's entering that territory where his development needs a step up. That 30-40 games area is where I would expect him to have 10 NRL games and 2-3 of those be good games.

He's made the step up every time.

Got it from a good source Fletcher Baker's management currently in talks with Manly for next season.

Alright guys, lets not stuff this up.

Ahem* oh no…that would be such a shame. He is a really solid first grade front rower. Boy, manly would be lucky to steal him away from us. I hope Dave knows what he’s doing.
