thats all we need another footy player who cares about his profile first and football second. well at least we are consistant on who we rectruit

So is this a nothing signing or a something. Sounds like he is just going to the Bears from the Bears.

I would like to see more potential signings like this but. A few more Shiba types would be good for the club. Guys with nothing left to lose who don't want the dream to die.

Yep, 26 year bloke who has been in 3 different NRL systems and still hasn’t cracked NRL…

Hope he goes alright, but geez, people are blowing up like we’ve made the signing of the year…

Cody Walker didn't make his debut until 26.

Ben Cross, Jeremy Smith, Steve Bell, Fuifui Moi Moi, Adam Mogg were 24 when they made their debut. Suaia Matagi, Paul Rauhihi were 25, so was Billy Walters when he made his NRL debut and he didn't become a regular first grader until he was 28. Then there's Brenton Lawrence who made his debut at 26 and became a regular in Manly's 2013 side at 28.

Point is, just because you haven't cracked it in the NRL until your mid-20's, it doesn't mean you're completely shit. Some people are late bloomers. Some players just hadn't been given a chance but when they do, they take it with both hands and become handy players to have on a roster.

I hope he does more power to him, my point was about various people making out as if this is the signing of the year.

Folks are happy about this signing in particular is due to the fact that
1. The new guy would easily compliment Patty’s role when he’s off
2. No mare of Kobe in 17. He contributes absolutely nothing.

For mine, many are elated about my point 2. Nothing more other than that.
As a bonus, if he produces the same sort of efforts as to what his YouTube clips provide when called upon, this place would be thumping with victories.

I think we're excited because while the dude hasn't cracked NRL yet, he clearly runs hard, plays a position that we need, is cheap, will be motivated and hungry, and isn't a certified spud at NRL level that we subsequently signed like Jetski/Baker (at least YET).

I mean look at Cobbo, plodding it up in Qcup while this dude runs hard in NSWcup.

I hope he carves up for the Bears and forces Kobe out.

Never thought it would come to this, but this actually makes me miss the days when our new forward recruits only sold exotic animals and reptiles.

If this post gets 15 likes I'm buying Harry 'Cleopatra' parfum from Nerfurtum

Introducing Cleopatra, a majestic fragrance inspired by Egypt’s iconic queen. This scent bursts with the luscious essence of ripe fruits, blending exotic sweetness with a hint of opulence. Each spritz unveils layers of juicy richness, wrapping you in an irresistible aura of seduction—a tribute to timeless elegance and power.
