Just in regard to Mav Geyer, the vast majority of Panthers fans absolutely detest this bloke in terms of actual ability and what he can offer. Only gets a game at Penrith because of his surname.
Not sure adding him to your squad would be of much benefit.

Yeah I dont rate him that much from what I've seen to date.
Sydney media love him because of his name, so Im guessing he's "a good bloke"and already part of the boys club, but I've not seen much on the field.
He doesnt look overly physical for a second rower, he's also 24 and barely gets a look in at panthers.
They're obviously a tough team to get into, but he's likely been coming through their system since he was like 6yr and they still dont really want to play him. They actively recruited Garner, Ipap and went after Dfifi despite knowing that he was coming through the system.
If a club legend's kid is barely getting a chance and is already mid-20's then he's probably not all that good.
He'll probably have a podcast next to Cooper Johns in a couple years
Admittedly, I haven't seen too much of him this year but saw a bit of him in previous years and thought he was good. It would totally depend on what you pay him. Not a must buy by any means.

Why would they he upset? He is a contracted player here and there only next year. So they can take a walk.

If I were the broncos, I would tell everyone who was interested in Cobbo that we would release him early. Then once they sign him and move players around to fit him in this year I’d say - eh I changed my mind sorry.
