Mate come on- Broncos are in Asics ads, Nine, 4BC, KIA every week.

Storm are the only ones- Silly thing to say.

So which big name player have the Storm lost since the Tripp thing happened?

They’ve re-signed their entire spine, one bloke on record as taking basically a third of an offer elsewhere to play at a contender.

Anderson must have been chewing up their cap hey.

small time journalist or wannabe journalist.
Speaking of which: whatever happened to Billy (son of Kevvie) Walters' burgeoning media career? Forgive me if I keep going on about journalists who may or may not want to be. Or clubs who are not the Broncos cheating against clubs who are the Broncos.

Al you need to be a journalist is a free disk (sic):

Black in 2025

Black 10 penalties in 14 games.

I smell trouble with this kid .
Gives away a penalty and drops the ball once a game .
Just wait until you see that scofflaw Patrick Carrigan's penalty (and six again) stats this season.

Oh ok, I didn't know Betr owns a bunch of perfume, hydration, burger, real estate and boat companies specifically for the Melbourne market.
🤞 fingers crossed they aren’t after Nefurtum. We wouldn’t want to lose Fletcher and Ben would we.

Players are allowed to have personal sponsors outside of club sponsors too- Staggs just signed with Ford and is now driving a Mustang. That's 100% off the cap.

I don't know what scandal you think you've uncovered. Players in adverts- Nooooo!

There is a big difference between Ford sponsoring a player and a club owners company sponsoring one of their players.

Last time I checked personal sponsorship needed to be available to a player regardless of which team they played for to be 100% cap free.

I'm pretty sure Matt Tripp isn't going to sponsor players to play against the Storm

Pretty sure the players with shares in betr can't promote betr interesting loophole they have found.

Wonder if staggs got offered ford shares...

Betr doesn't sponsor one player, it sponsors the Storm club. Broncos are sponsored by Star and the players have to do things for them or Asics or 4BC. Storm players have the same obligation to their sponsors.

Club sponsors have already paid for it, when they hand over their million dollars.

No that's not right do you think Triple M Brisbane are going to get Reynolds to do a weekly spot if he was at Souths? Do you think Bremer Ford is going to sponsor Staggs a car if he goes to the Warriors?

Of course not.

Personal sponsors are limitless; Staggs can sign with Ford and get a Mustang a week if he wants. It's arm length from the club and he can go crazy. Good management from Moses, I guess.

NRL sponsors are limitless too and not on the cap- Telstra, Ampol etc

Banging on about how the Storm have different rules is just not true, I have given examples now of personal sponsors and club sponsor obligations at Storm and Brisbane. They're both the same.

As for the stupid shares, the NRL said at the time, any player was free to invest their money however they want and could buy shares in anything the only provisor was buying them not given. So, a Bronco player could invest in News or even the Broncos if they wanted too the same way if a Storm player wanted to buy shares in a sponsor they could.

A forward giving away penalties is expected . A half not so much .
Adam Reynolds has given away 8 penalties this season, Luai 11, Hynes 12. That's without counting set restarts and ruck infringements.

But maybe that's because the refs are biased against NSW. They're pretty corrupt, I hear.
