If it's a 4-year deal then he has to take it... he's not getting a deal that long at the broncos... and good on him for getting that kind of deal as well.

I love Kobe, but I feel like he's just a prop at the broncos at the moment.

Patty is our 13 and provides ball playing... even when Kobe does come on he doesn't ball play and he doesn't provide versatility to play in the back row... so he's just an undersized prop that plays about 40mins a game.

At manly if he does end up starting it's likely he'll play much longer minutes and they'll get much better value out of him.

Didn’t Bullemor go to manly to be a starter (amongst personal reasons) and he ended up playing majority off the bench.

Hetherington won’t be a regular starter at Manly either. He might get a crack at it but I can’t see it lasting

His GF got a job in Sydney so he asked to be released of the 1 year extension signed earlier in the year to discuss a longer term with Manly. I thought he'd end up in Perth

Geez I wish I knew a love so strong that it would convince me to commit 4 years of my life to Anthony Seibold
not to mention moving from bris to syd

the poor bastard

good luck to him though, glad he's got a solid 4 year contract

I don’t understand the obsession with Jamal on here. He’s a shell of the player he was hyped up to be.

I think the best for him would be to sign with a really good Cup team with NRL links like the Bears and start again with certainty about where he would be playing, I haven't given up hope he can recapture his Cutters and Townsville form.

At the Bears working with Coster, Koellner, De Luis and Christiansen running on the left off Rogers and Hamilton you'd quickly find out how committed he is to football.

He needs to be rebuilt and Burt becoming a bit of a master at that.

There's no one in this whole squad that deserves another contract than this man. Consistent, reliable and puts 110% every game. My starting front row with Haas easily.

+1. Such a good find for the club, he's the epitome of an experienced, low-maintenance, low-frills toiler that balances out the superstars.

Good to see CJ putting pen to paper. Looking like extending Paix as well which I think should be on min wage. He hasn't shown enough to be on even 300k.

Need to lock up bill for the next two years at least

Good signing. If we also keep Gosiewski as well as Paix both for minimum wage, I would be very happy with that. Jensen is a low cost middle who you can simply plug and play which you need in your squad. Gosiewski and Paix are not world beaters but you can count on them if you get deep into your squad, you aren't going to get much better for the price they will be on. Good news.
