Not so much letting him go . He is reportedly disillusioned with the club combined that with their cap pressure and potentially gets an early release.
More likely he sticks out next year then goes to Perth IMO but come Nov 1 he can talk, (officially that is.)

this Perth team feels like the nrls end game in poaching all of our players….they started it with dolphins and now Perth.

Plus let’s be real, no one there gives a shit about nrl. So it will be another storm situation where they can walk the city freely and no one knows who they’re and the game doesn’t grow at all.

We'd loan him for the same reason the Storm loaned out Grant.

Hunt and Billy are likely to be out hooker rotation next season

So the choice is have Mozer sit in QCup and wait for an injury or go and get NRL experience at another club, then come back into our NRL hooking rotation in 2027 when Hunt is likely retired
 
I thought we had Hayze Perham as FB replacement? It is just that he was injured in the trials and couldn't play the rest of the season. He can play centre and wing as well.

I think Daine could be a good, specialized FB option, but at minimum $ obviously, to save putting all our eggs in one basket.

We could also train Arthar's in pre-season as FB option, considering we have Anderson coming next year.
FB Options would then be; Walsh, Arthars, Hayze.
Centre / Wings would be: Arthars, Karapani, Mariner, Anderson, Hayze
With Shiba and Staggs being main Centre specialized options.

That way the salary cap isn't under pressure by buying another FB.

It’s a bit over kill with Mozer but I’m loving how difficult it is for young players to get a run for the Broncos. We need to be a club where it takes a lot of effort to earn a start, and you need to have already done a solid apprenticeship so you aren’t figuring it out as you go in the NRL.

Storm have been the prime example of this.

Agreed. I would love to see us sign Jibasaki, Chester and Laurie. Lisati too from the Storm if he is still unsigned.

Thought the same when it was first announced he wasn't being re-signed, but I'm guessing he would prefer a starting spot?

Could see him absolutely carving up ESL for a year and then sign with Perth 🤔🤔
 
Dane starts at Perth immediately; the fact is it's a promotion. Simon has the job at Brisbane and Perth offered him the job he wants.

Dane has also had some major health problems so he might be in his seize the day era.

I think the Broncos should take every opportunity, where appropriate, to loan youngsters stuck in the queue to other NRL clubs..
it’s such an advantage imo to give certain players that exposure & experience and then get them back ready to go for you
 
Another good example of loaning a player out is Arthars.

Look at how well his 2023 went after a year at the Warriors

Obviously I don’t want players to leave after getting loaned out either, but if they want to leave after only a season away, chances are they aren’t willing to earn a spot, and rather be gifted one
