wonder how storm will go once they cut ties with easts tigers
alot of there success has been getting qlders to play for them.
althought im unsure how many of there past stars actually did play for easts.
i guess there are benefits to having your own team int he nsw cup but i hope it blows up in there face. would be good to see them come back down to earth for a change. such a arrogant fan base and club.
Also i was hoping it would open up more chances for broncos to keep qlders but from what i hear the deal between eas tigers and perth bears is done. so all there up and coming talent will be heading there.

I would give hayze perham another development contact as he surely was going to be Walsh backup before he did is acl in first trail

He is easily in our top 2-3 hookers at the moment. Mozer and bukowski haven't proven themselves yet, Walters is better off the bench and hunt still isnt 100% proven to work for us there, and he is by faaaaaaar our best option with any halves injuries, meaning our season doesn't miss a beat when reynolds or mam get injured.
It doesn't make sense for him but if hes on minimum wage for a 1 year deal, then what do we lose? We could loan mozer out for the year and SAVE more money AND have an nrl-level starting 9 still. Mozer has had terrible luck/timing with injuries this year, but if he can't force his way into the side then is it worth scrapping a minimum wage proven starting 9? He should be worried about bukowski as well by the sounds of it.

technically, there is no loan system in the NRL.
you have to release the play and then have them sign a new contract for when the loan term is up.
so extending him first is a waste of time

Knowing absolutely nothing of the situation, it seems like the Broncos ate not 100% sold on Mozer and think Bukowski may be better. Loaning him out is a great solution - see how we actually plays in the NRL and if he goes good, reel him back in, if not, he's free to look elsewhere.

I know we’ve all been critical of Baker but reading your post, you can’t help but to feel a little sad about signing him in the first place
That's not right, Grant was still under contract at the Storm for three more years he signed in 2019 until 2022. The Tigers just took 2020 and the Tigers had to pay him what the Storm was paying him for that 12 months and have room in their cap for that money.
