It would be $300k per year... unsure if that's overs with the cap continually going up**** that would of been a massive overpay what a shame

He is pretty bang average I reckon that's a good dealIt would be $300k per year... unsure if that's overs with the cap continually going up
1. I cannot believe they offered him that much money. The Titans have reportedly pulled their offer for Arthars after he missed their deadline.
The offer was a 2 year, $600k offer
1. I cannot believe they offered him that much money.
2. I cannot believe he missed their deadline and didn’t take the offer the minute it was given.
Holy smokes.
It looks like it’s either Bears (if they’re offering) or super league. Unless he wants to get paid much less at broncos but atleast he doesn’t have to move.Does that mean he’s staying?
Apparently a decent deal from japanese rugby on the table as well.It looks like it’s either Bears (if they’re offering) or super league. Unless he wants to get paid much less at broncos but atleast he doesn’t have to move.
That’s why I’m so disappointed in how he’s played at 5/8. I’ve always thought it’s his natural position, I get he’s older and all but still expected more.It sucks that Hunt struggles in all but one position now. It might be best to let him go so it doesn't become similar to Boyd and just leaves us with a sour taste in the mouth after a great 2025.
I'll still remember the good times. When Brisbane was going nowhere with Prince and Wallace and Griffin decided to just put Hunt there at the end of 2013, when he was just a serviceable bench hooker for several years. Hunt took it with both hands and made us excited about the Broncos again. He only had the one go to move - going down the blind side, but it was almost unguardable for a while.
Warriors Bishop Neal 17 years old and picked for QLD 19 - MEGASTAR in the making. Broncos need to get in his ear when he is over here. Throw the bank at him. The next SBW - 100%.
I'd offer the Warriors all of Verhoeven, Coates and Duffy/Mam to sign this kid.
To be fair I have also see Bishop Neal win his team games because of his defense. That first half against the Panthers the entire Warriors team was off and they got smoked in the first half. The Warriors were playing Neal on the flank in order to spread it to him on turnovers. Later, Bishop Neal steam rolls two guys along the flank and crashes over in the corner and the Warriors blitz the Panthers 2nd half but get pipped short. He's turned 18, he's nearly the same age to the day as Francis. Playing 80 minutes in Cup at 17 is outrageous though and he did it on debut.
Warriors have him locked down until 2028 anyway.
I think Francis' defence is better, but Neal has shown more in attack at Cup level so far. It's going to be wild attack on Thursday.
Neal's defence is sloppy; he missed six tackles against the Panthers last round and was on report for a dangerous lazy effort. A backrower wouldn't normally be missing that many tackles that's half back territory.
There should be.There's no overhaul to have. There's no salary cap space.
