Young outside back Antonio Verhoeven has signed a three-year, Top 30 contract with the Club, securing his future at Red Hill through to the end of 2029.

Persistence Pays Off as Paix Signs Through to '28

Its official. Good signing.

Really like Paix starting to play close to 70-80 minutes. It helps the bench so much more. For example, he played 70 minutes vs Dolphins and Bunt played about 5-10 minutes in a middle forward role to give one of the starting forwards a bit more of a rest.

It helps when our bench isn't up to where we want it, mainly with Haas out. Not a knock on Talty or Tawha, they played awesome on the weekend.

I assume we will see more of this 70-minute Paix throughout the year, especially if Reyno is in the 7. Hunt more of a 9/13 role, outside of injury to halves. Madge has Paix as our main 9. Probably a reason why Mozer isn't getting NRL time.

Just a side note: Keep an eye out on Mason Teague, he is killing it at hooker in QCUP for Bears. Can play small lock too. Very Tyson Smoothy like.

Warbrick's going, so I'm guessing if anyone's off from the Broncos, it won't be a winger. With Paix re-signing, I wonder if they're interested in a backup hooker?

He's only playing hooker for about 30 minutes then Burt lets him rove around but he still defends in the middle and Mozer comes on. He stays on for the 80 minutes so is getting through defence and acts like a link or second 6 out there a lot.

He's only played two games too because of suspension.

The Broncos have now launched formal legal proceedings, claiming Walsh has breached the terms of his NRL playing contract.
