As for Haas, his daughter is fast approaching school age and his two youngest brother are in school, still under his care, with their mum in prison here - if he leaves, he's going on his own and I just don't see it.... I could be wrong, but I think it would be highly unlikely if we take care of him. Payne is also the kind of bloke the club would keep around after his career. He is a ready made role model for young blokes coming through, particularly from troubled backgrounds and making something of yourself.
That and R360 could be here today, gone tomorrow. The whole concept is based on them being able to make bank off it, as Payne is under contract for their first season, if things go sideways, there may not be a second season anyway. The countries they are trying to market to are not even Rugby countries, it's very likely to be a gamble at best that he even gets what he's promised money wise. International Rugby is off the table at least for the Wallabies.
