If it's the idea of DD and the integration of Smith into out club with a view to him perhaps one day sitting on the coaching staff with Reyno after Madge has stepped down I'm here for it.

Once he's been installed properly as coaching staff his will to win would easily takeover when he came up against melbum.

If we can rehabilitate Smith back into his proper love of his birth place it would be a delicious coup.
 
Lead story in the CM right now. Read & Carayannis are saying R360 is confident they'll land Haas for around 3 million a season, plus tax breaks. They're not saying he will but that he's leaning in that direction.

Well it’s going to suck to lose him , but who would knock back 3 mill a year ? He’s done what he wanted to do. Origin , Samoa. Won his comp but a rebel rugby union comp. Ffs …..
 
Thinking about it a bit more, will the NRL ban Haas immediately, as in next season, if he signs or talks with r360? I have complete faith in DD and Madge to be on the phone with a replacement if that's the case
 
As i said yesterday, i fully expect haas re-signing confirmation within the next week. Multiple instagram stories unprompted glazing him on the broncos social media in the last few days. There is a motive to do that. Then every-single-time just before he has re-signed there were fresh reports of him leaving to a huge deal, almost like they were strategically put out to get the last bit of milk from the story/clicks before they are unable to for about 6 months. Rinse and repeat....

Interesting he met with his manager yesterday and this comes out now. I reckon his team is the one putting this information out, maybe for more $$?
 
I love big Payno, I would not blame him for one second for securing his and his families future.
He stuck with us through the spoon and helped us to a premiership, the bloke has done more than most for the Broncos and i wish him the best.

I will be sad to see him go, but i would rather see him go to R360 and earn bags of cash than another NRL club.

It makes sense for Payne to take the money. He's gotta support his brothers and pay the way of the rest of his useless family. It's nuts.

Literally the only quote in article was from Luai and it was all about Haas and how he's fitting in with Samoa.

The whole article was all "it is understood" or "sources close to the situation"
