Nothing to apologise for, just think its actually very unlikely it happens this year as there is so many things that would need to align.

We'd have to have the cap space this year if there is a difference in Barnett value vs player(s) we would be sending, Wahs have also said he wouldn't be going this year, and we'd need the player(s) we would be sending to agree to an instant move over to NZ.

Would love to somehow get him this year, but don't think its a realistic possibility.

I think these were the part of his game that were often not too bad to be fair, its all the effort areas that he use to just give up on. The selfish part of me hopes he keeps being average just cause I know if he hits his true potential we will regret him leaving 🤣

I appreciate everyone is entitled to their opinion, but legitimately....anyone who thinks Joe Chan or Lisati push Piakura or Riki out of the starting side are just on here for troll value and I won't engage in nonsense
 
Barnett coming this year seems like it would be unfair on a Talty who busted his arse last year and was a bees dick from a GF berth. Barnett would push Jensen to the bench (not an impact forward) and put sh X further down the pecking order. Don’t need him this year imo

Thinking Tawha would probably drop into Jhunt's current spot?

Barnett can play some second row, so he basically becomes the hybrid forward, except playing 50+ mins.

Not sure we'd be able to afford his price tag this year anyway.

Would be a disgustingly good forward pack though... the salt from Sydney would be glorious
 
Wahs fans don’t seemed to be impressed with the Arthurs/Te Kura rumour. Not a credible source anyway so can’t read too much into that post
 
Not sure what other people's opinions on the matter are, but I would rather we get Flegler back than recruit Barnett. I know one is up for grabs and the other technically isn't, but still.

Back-row is definitely the other issue, but without an obvious target. Remember when we had Parker, Gillett, Te'o, Thaiday & Glenn?
 
Fleg isn't going to be available until 28' at the earliest though, and we're going to need someone next year. Depending on what happens between now and when Fleg is actually available, we could still make a play.
