Yeah I'm not sure where this apparent form reversal has come from... the last try from cows came because he completely ****ed up his assignment.

It was probably his worst game for the last 18 months and he ****ing knew it, because he finally pulled his finger out after gift wrapping that try to Chester.

Only reason he's not been dropped after that game is because we're missing a third of our Top 30 roster.
 
Honestly, Shiba has passed his peak and there’s not a remote chance that he would get there again. He’s quickly becoming the same player he was before turning up for a T&T deal at RedHill end of 2024.
So, move on from him and sign up Arthurs if it’s between them 2.

I stand by my statement.
He’s NOWHERE near the top 3 centres in our game, no matter how much people glaze him.

“Jesse has been outstanding. Everyone wants to be out on the field but what Jesse does for the team, he is part of a leadership group and he drives values.

“With Gem (who is back at centre after being dropped in round 3) sometimes you have to take a step backward to go forward.

“It’s hard for Gem because he was brilliant last year and every now and then you get challenged in how you perform.

“In true Gem style, he just went back to his training and works hard and was patiently waiting on the bench.

“Gem has been excellent in his attitude through this period and hopefully we can keep him here.”



Josh Hannay has ruled out chasing Shibasaki
“Gehamat was offered to us and we spoke about him internally,” Hannay said.

“But at this stage we are happy with our centre options.”

The thing with Herbie is that whist his stats are amazing, they don't really translate into helping the team win matches. Dolphins have only won 2 matches despite Herbie's supposed individual heroics. Of the matches I've watched over this year and previously, he makes his states with side stepping and crabbing across the field. I'd much rather have a proven team player match winner then Herbie.

Hmmm ,,, Joey was calling him tha bess centre in the comp last night .

He`s a traitor anyway . So let`s just ignore him . lol .

The thing is herbie would be the best centre in the competition..... if this wasnt a team game.

His tackle breaking, energy, and stepping are amazing, but Crichton has literally won games for the Bulldogs. I can think of multiple games herbie has died with the ball in the dying moments of tight games trying to be the hero.

Imagine we are in a gf, down by 2 points with 10 seconds left, herbie grabs the ball from dummy half and walsh is outside him..... lets be honest, he ain't passing. Game lost, but hey, that jinking step back inside brushing off 4 players really looked good on his stat sheet.

Herbie is an amazing centre, but honestly, he'd be much more valuable to most teams as a winger in my eyes
