Coming back from injury .
Then got suspended . So , not exactly can`t beat out Papali .

But ,,, when I saw he was going to Paramatta I thought Hmmm ,,, Joash Papalii might have something to say about that .

I think people just need to forget he's even going around this season, when he plays for Parramatta, he's playing 5/8. That is Mitchell Moses' team.

The two roles are significantly different and we're buying him to be a 7.

100%. I'm very keen to see how he goes when he hopefully plays 7 in the couple games Moses will be at Origin.

When he came into Cup, he was a 6 and off the bench for his first season. I thought that his versality was a strength, he'd come on and have an impact for Tigers all over the place. 6 shouldn't be that hard for him even in 25 he was playing Cup at 6 when he was moved to the Coast.

Position isn’t the problem, it’s the team he’s playing in right now, no one at parramatta is setting the world on fire
 
Looks like we'll lose Shibasaki. I'm not overly disappointed given what it would take to keep him.

This is what Badel has said (no mention of what we actually offered Gem)

This masthead understands Shibasaki is resigned to leaving the Broncos at season’s end unless Brisbane can up the ante in the face of more lucrative offers from NRL rivals.

Brisbane have tabled an extension for Shibasaki, but it is understood the contract offer is dwarfed by what he could earn elsewhere, with his management fielding interest from four NRL suitors.

The Broncos remain hopeful Shibasaki will ink a new deal for 2027 and beyond, but the well-built centre’s asking price has soared after his rise to Queensland and Australia selection.

He should be looking to get his payday... Madge dropped him earlier this year, I can see why broncos wouldn't want to be breaking the bank for him.

We've got X off contract end of next year, as well as Mariner... those two look like key re-signings.

Jesse off contract end of this year and probably doesn't break the bank, but probably becomes favourite to get a starting spot back next year with Anderson and potentially Shiba moving on.

I'd imagine both of those clubs have expressed interest. we did here rumours about the Storm, although that was before they signed Isaako
