Broncos training

Massively underrated this season, Jordan.

I agree with you but he has some pretty stiff competition to keep his spot in coming seasons with TC, Peeks and hopefully Te Kura coming through.

We're really spoilt for depth, aren't we?

Massively underrated this season, Jordan.

He`s started to gain some form the past cpl of weeks .
Now running the ball again . He was a passenger in attack there for a few weeks .

Fit Riki makes Kotoni and Selwyn`s job easier . Defence has to worry about Riki running off Reyno or TMM . . Creates more space .

Riki has been very average, imo.

Has started to show some signs of life in the last few weeks, but any criticism he's had this year has been warranted. An 80 minute edge back rower that's running for less than 70 metres per game, with 2 tries, 2 offloads & 14 tackle busts in 12 games is not performing well, especially not compared to what he was doing at the end of last season.

I suspect our 2nd rowers aren't seen as ball runners primarily, rather, their first priority is to stiffen up the d and make sure their inside/outside men are communicating properly. I don't think many of our 2nd rowers have hit 100m regularly this season.

We might just be shit at using them too.

Yeah agree, it might be the way we use them, him and Capewell rarely go near the 100m mark.

The thing that has impressed me with riki is those "no-talent required" jobs he is doing now.

His kick chase, his cover tackles (multiple try savers from memory), even his niggle and standing up for his halfback, inside pressure, kick pressure, wrestle. They are all great now.
