Broncos v Warriors will be shown live at 11am next Sunday so it doesn't clash with the cricket starting at 1pm.

I didn't realise it was a 9 game.

Just glad there hasn't been any funny business but still, I thought for sure that the first Sunday game would enable me to watch the NYC boys on telly.

I may have to check in with my Kiwi connections to see if Sky is airing it...

Yeah, my concern is that since it's a Channel 9 game it may interfere with the Holden Cup telecast.

I'm 90% sure it won't but I'll look into it later.

It was more a dig at them never playing stuff live, but when it's cricket, we have to move and reschedule everything to get that on.

Well dah!

Cricket is Australia's national sport. Also, the Cricket WC final is the 2nd biggest sporting event in the world behind the Soccer WC final due to pretty much everyone in Asia wanting to watch it. Given that I'm going to Melbourne for the WC final it's going to be awesome drinking at the pub pre-game watching the Broncos live.

Plus, I think we should be glad to see the Broncos playing a day game, it's definitely when they play their best. If this was to be a 4pm game, it would be a 6pm or 7pm start time in NZ. Win-Win if you ask me.

I don't disagree with you. But to claim that a round 4 rugby league game should take precedence over a WC cricket final is ludicrous.

Channel 9 advertised the telecast start time in Qld as 10.30am, probably for pre game discussion.
