The Broncos will be without second rower, Ben Te'o (ankle) while prop, Joel Clinton and hooker, Aaron Gorrell have niggling leg injuries and were unable to train yesterday.

I reckon t5he team should be:

1. Hunt
2. Winterstein
3. Michaels
4. Hodges
5. Folau
6. Lockyer
7. Wallace
8. Clinton
9. McCullough
10. Kenny
11. Thaiday
12. Setu
13. Parker (but not as kicker)

14. Glenn
15. Taylor
16. McGuire
17. Sims - if Clinton is ruled out, bring someone like Sweeney in and start Sims

I don't think Teo deserves to be dropped.

1. Hunt
2. Winterstein
3. Hodges
4. Folau
5. Yow Yeh
6. Lockyer
7. Wallace
8. Kenny
9. McCullouch
10. Clinton
11. Thaiday
12. Teo
13. Parker
----------------------------
14. Taylor
15. Setu
16. Glenn
17. Sims/McGuire

Te'o is injured bud. Read the quote in the first post. I agree with the team you picked Foordy. I hope Clinton's inury heals up fine before the game because he has benn great this year. I wouldn't mind if Gorrell misses this game because we will need the strongest bench we can get because versing the roosters is always a physical game. So having Sims, Taylor and McGuire all on the bench who can play front row and second row is great.

AAP said today that "Teo had his left foot in a protective boot, suggesting he could be facing another 2-4 weeks on the sidelines."

In other news, Clinton said that Willie Mason "is a worry" this week. Tommy Raudonikis disagrees, however, and is releasing a single called "Harden Up" which is dedicated to the big myth.

"Because that Jets jersey, it's for legends. Blokes like Chook Raper and Chicka Moore. I just hope that when he went into those Henson Park dressing sheds after training, he didn't sit in my old spot."

Yep agree with that team.

Since Te'o is injured i'd have Setu come into the second row, Sims and McGuire then both get a spot on the bench.

Karmichael Hunt
Antonio Winterstein
Steve Michaels
Justin Hodges
Israel Folau
Darren Lockyer
Peter Wallace
Nick Kenny
Aaron Gorrell
Joel Clinton
Sam Thaiday
Ben Te'o
Corey Parker

Andrew McCullough
David Taylor
Lagi Setu
Alex Glenn
Ashton Sims
Josh McGuire
PJ Marsh

Te'o is suspected to be out for 2-4 weeks. Clinton and Gorrell have niggling injuries and didn't train yesterday apparently.

You're dreaming if you think Ivan will start McCullough and not have either PJ Marsh or Gorrell on the bench.

Bench (Henjak)
David Taylor
Aaron Gorrell
Alex Glenn
Ashton Sims (or Setu if he is fit)

Bench (me)(McCullough starting)
David Taylor
Lagi Setu
Alex Glenn
Josh McGuire

McCullough has been named on the bench but i would bet that he will start again. i don't see why Henjak doesn't just name him in the starting side

i hope he doesnt start. i can see him carving up after 25 mins. big rooster pack will get tired quicker.

Yeah I'll second that.

Did I hear Alex Glenn is a handy dummy half? He's had a fantastic start to the season - I've got big wraps on this dude.

Whaddya reckno about starting him at dummy half and then at the 20/30 minute mark bring on McCullough, sub off Clinton or Thaiday (whoever is due for a rest) and shift Glenn to the second row.

McCullough comes on, can do damage late in the 1st half then play through

Glenn played everywhere last year in the 20s.

still think PJ needs a crack at starting.

I really like the way glenn is playing this year...he seems like a very consistent player....i really want marsh to play this weekend tho!

The style of game Henjak wants us to play allows us to have a hooker on the bench. If we were to play bash and barge footy like we did with Bennett than 4 forwards on the bench would be more suitable IMO.

We've won the last 7 of 8 games against the Roosters and the last 6 games straight at the SFS. This week really shouldn't be much different.

With Mason and Myles back, I'm still confident but I hope the Broncos don't come to the SFS thinking that it's going to be a complete walk over. I'm just concerned that the Roosters may try and do what the Dragons did to us last week - Play it one-out through the middle and play with some second phase play without actually spreading it wide. Saints pissed me off last week, they'd hit the line then get an offload away and instead of trying to get it out wide, they'd offload and come back in the middle for another hit up - No wonder our big men in the middle were farked after 20 minutes.

Hopefully we've learnt from last week. We should beat them.

After being touched up last week I can't imagine the Broncos turning up with that attitude.
