Just got back in, from being at the trial, was actually a pretty quick and intense game, very obvious there was unlimited interchange. Neither Hunt or Norman really went gang busters, I have to admit that is the first time I have seen Norman in the flesh this season and he definitely looks like he has filled out this year. He looked the sharper of the two originally, his long kicks were definitely the better of the two, but to be honest Hunts short kicking game and kick for the Copley try might have made him the slightly better of the two by the end. I wasnt in the greatest vantage point so I probably missed a bit when the action was on the other side of the field, but the middle portion consisted of a lot of very quick hit ups from forwards on both teams trying to impress.
I would have to say Hunt had the better of the game time when the game opened up at the start and end, Capewell had a quick shot at half near the end of the game when Norman came off again.
Have to say Hannant looked fast and fit, not sure who was in the 18 jumper but he is a big unit, only had limited game time though. Teo put on some of his big hits in defence, looks sharp again, still had his wrist heavily strapped, would have thought that would have healed by now. Capewell was running out of dummy half in his earlier stint in the game, he looked composed in the second half but not impressive or anything and Hunt moved to dummy half when Norman came on in the first half. Wallace looked like Wallace, wasnt really on for that long but the pace of the game really wasnt suited to halves and backs dominating, it was really a forward hit out.
