Tunza and Parker are both god tier. Parker by a little bit cause of his form after 2010. If he keeps it up, its a sure thing IMO.

I guess it depends if this is a paper team or a hypothetical team you intend to field. I feel Parker has achieved slightly more than Tunza but if you were actually going to a field a team with all our superstars in it then Tunza is easily a better fit as I feel Parker's qualities would be less valuable when you have guys like Tallis, Webcke and Lazarus around.

That's a good point.

Plus, if you asked Bennett, he'd tell you that Tallis would have been a bench player if he had his way again.

Can see the logic of that, bringing Tallis on for the inevitable ebb and flow would have been amazing.

Parker's ability to break in and retain his spot is an objective indication of his achievement and superiority over Matterson.

Plus, Queensland were a far more successful team when Parker made the spot his own than any period of Matterson's career.

plus Matterson was a cockroache.....that makes Parker an easy choice for me out of those two.

I think Parker has the edge over everyone else, but TC is hard to forget about. He'll be on my bench somewhere.

Darren Smith, was a terrific footballer.

Kevin Campion and Peter Ryan were locks of the old school era and deserve their names mentioned amongst such auspicious company.

I voted Tunza, Parker is a better all round player but Carroll had that fear factor. Players would run a line and then arc elsewhere when they saw TC lining them up.

Parker can go on the bench for mine.
