Is Carlin Anderson a local product ? Is he available to play for Qld down the track ? It seems to me that Qld and the Islander/Kiwi players will dominate rugby league in years to come.

That's why there's a proposal to match up the QLD team against NZ. such a kick in the face to NSW... But i think it would be a huge event!

I think he's from Gympie? Also he doesn't strike me as a big bloke like Dugan.

Culty, and also 1910 - you guys are probably right technically speaking in that Carlin is not really similar to Dugans body size. For some reason though, he just reminds me of him very much. Im not sure whether Carlin has anymore growing to do - perhaps 1910 could say. Whether he will bulk up anymore or not as he gets older could also be a possibility.

Whatever the similarities or not, his very much an excitement machine an im so glad we managed to hold onto him!

He's got a future that's for sure! Maranta has been solid enough and safe this year but someone like Anderson can really bring something to the table. Also if we give him a start we can keep him happy and away from the poachers down south.

I really hope he gets a shot sooner rather than later. Seems like he's coming along nicely this year. Goal kicking is a nice bonus.

With Hodges moving on next year, the whole back line could well be up for grabs. Based on this year, I'd say Reed has left centre sewn up for the near future, but who knows who'll get the other three spots.

Let's hope he gets a crack at the nines next year. His goal kicking has to be a big plus for him in terms of getting a start in the lineup next year. Not sure how good he is though?
