Another question - Was there something wrong with Civo? It looked like he was carrying an injury in the second half -or was he jsut out on his feet? It seemed an age before he got on as well and he went down the tunnel. Just sore? I haven't read anything about him in the reports.

How much longer is Hodges out for? We'd be scraping the barrell a bit now. Dell on the wing, Darius/Issy to the centres? Esi Tonga, Steve Michaels?? Is Mogg still playing in England?? Is Tomane a Queenslander?

I just saw after I made my post that he has a suspected broken jaw. On the coverage last night they initially said he didn't have any other injuries other than being concussed.

Hunt has been Ok without shining at centre. Walker /Dell could come in to wing and Folau to centre for the game.

One thing is for sure when we get injuries or retirement from this current side we are threadbare for quality.

Enter Pus Gould. He will be waiting in the wings ready to take up the coaching role in the next 2 years. Like a rat with a gold tooth that bloke.

I think they will just play Hunt in the centres. Would they bring Prince onto the bench? Or maybe Cronk (he's probably a little more versatile)?

Hunt to centre, Prince to the bench. Hunt doesn't need to be spectacular, he just needs to be solid.

To be fair on Hunt, if you replace a centre with a non-specialist centre - indeed, a player who has almost never played in that position - then it's going to stifle the attack somewhat.

I just don't want Folau in the centres. He and Locky do not defend well together. At least on the wing they've got someone between them.

Frankly I'd consider playing Ash Harrison in the centres. Pity he's more left side too, but he's a brilliant defender, good hole runner, good offload....

Then bring Corey Parker or Micheal Luck or someone onto the bench, with Nate Myles to start in the back row.

Maurice Blair will be on their radar also, even though I don't rate him he plays centre for his club.

Will Chambers has been going great guns also, who cares if he's going to Rugby...

Maybe they will pick Dell out of sentiment, and probably to boost ratings given nobody south of the border is likely to care too much anymore. Tomane is probably too young but he is one hell of a talent, and I'd much prefer him over the other nuffy options as at least the experience he gets will be useful in later series.

Actually, come to think of it, I'm all for Steve Michaels making the side. It's another game in which he has to get himself injured or suspended, plus he might get some sort of bonus which means we have to release him due to salary cap pressures.
