No Green. No Abbott? Carey? I guess they need a back up keeper and he is ok. Hardie is pretty lucky to be there, he's had a really average season and has been injured a lot but I guess he takes Green's place. I thought Connolly might sneak a spot but he certainly wouldn't have been there on merit in the OD side at least.

I'd think the first XI would be something like:

1. Head
2. Inglis
3. Marsh
4. Smith
5. Maxwell
6. Stoinis
7. Hardie
8. Cummins
9. Starc
10. Zampa
11. Hazlewood

Labushagne or Short might be there instead of Hardie.

Do Australia need a One Day domestic competition anymore?

Stonis doesn't even have a WA contract- Carey is the 'highest run scorer" picked from Dean Jones Cup at #16.

Marnus is the "highest wicket taker" at number 20 with three.

Just pick the 20/20 and OD side from the BBL.

Don't see why this tournament needs to exist and don't think i've ever watched a CT match. Assume Cummins will be ruled out and Bartlett or Spencer come in.
