Totally agree, and very well could be the post Origin let down for a younger player coming into play as well.

Absolutely this. He's just come off his first year of Origin in which he played all 3 games. It's not unusual to see players struggle at club level after their debuts, Gillett I clearly remember had a similar drop in form and people here were calling for his head.

He'll come good, I have no doubts whatsoever.

He would have scored two tries last game had Boyd's passing game been its normal clinical self. One bounced before it got to him and the other was over his head & behind him and slowed him down enough for the defence to stop him.
