Pretty much how I see it unfolding.Smart money is obviously on Floyd. Incredibly slim chance for McGregor to catch him Floyd is just too hard to catch, too technically sound, and that's even facing quality boxers.
If McGregor is to have a chance, he can't be the aggressor. If he chases Floyd, Mayweather will make him miss, wear him out and make him pay. Still an incredibly tall order but his best opportunity to land a big shot is when his opponent has is committed to his punches. If he's able to land a big counter (as improbable as that), go for broke.
Still see Mayweather outworking him and a TKO victory after McGregor gasses out and eats a hundred or so punches.
Even if Mayweather fucked one of his hands he is still going to be way to quick for McGregor. If McGregor wins its more of hitting him with one punch not boxing his way to a win.Pretty much how I see it unfolding.
There is also the possibility Mayweather could **** his hands early on, that'd make it interesting.
It only takes one punch... but Floyd has avoided that for years against better skilled, more seasoned boxers that have all claimed they would knock him out. Hard to see mcgregor doing what others who've trained all their life couldn't.
You can guarantee Mayweather's lawyers have locktite wording in the contract - if McGregor ever tries anything MMA-ish he will be going home without a penny.Would laugh my arse off if he just walked into the ring and floored him with a kick to the head or something.
Spot on. Look how knackered McGregor was after a few rounds with Diaz. Mayweather is probably the best defensive boxer of all time, even though he has 10+ years on McGregor, he won't let him get inside. So the chances of Mayweather getting knocked out are slim to none.Mayweather will finish him within the distance with a KO. McGregor wont be able to fight non stop for 12 full rounds. He will tire and Mayweather will end him. Boxing is no joke of a sport like the UFC fights think it is. It takes conditioning to with stand 12 rounds. Most UFC fights are fully gassed after 3 x 5 minute rounds.
Agreed. I think it's going to be one of the biggest stitch ups of all time. I'll be surprised if it goes beyond 4 rounds.Spot on. Look how knackered McGregor was after a few rounds with Diaz.
