Over the last two nights I have been you-tubing lots of cricket stuff for one reason or another. Mostly boredom!!

Waqar is one of my alltime favourites, his yorkers were so far above what anyone else has ever produced. On his day he was unplayable.
 
Steve Waugh's Last ball 100 at the SCG

This is one of the most memorable moments in test cricket for me. Not only because Steve got his 100 that day (and because I met him 3yrs later) but because I was there at the ground, with everyone buzzing.

I also jumped the fence from the Brewongle stand to get into the Ladies/Members section to see him walk off, which was fantastic _woohoo_ _woohoo_

I VERY much disagree. Adam Dale's catch in the MM cup domestic One Dayer vs. NSW at the Gabba is the greatest catch of all time.

Absolute superman effort. I've seen close, but nothing touches that.

There used to be a news report clip of it on Youtube. I haven't been able to locate it for awhile though.

The seemingly "blind umpire"/"worst decision ever" one was for a Specsavers UK commerical. Unfortunately it's not real. [icon_frown

That yorker was pretty ridiculous and the last ball of Scott Boswell's over had me lol'ing.

I VERY much disagree. Dale's was a ripper but to be honest it was a fluke. Steve Waugh ran 50 metres and nearly collided with Merv Hughes and the sight-screen, not to mention running with the ball which is very VERY hard to do, and in the end took it easily.

I still think the Steve Waugh catch is great, but also possibly the most overrated catch of all time.

No doubt it's a good catch, but it has always been very overrated.

Adam Dale catch fluke? That was absolutely exemplerary. Perfect athleticism and perfect dive. Dale had to do just as much judging of that catch as Steve Waugh did.

I have no idea how you can say that was over-rated. You're a cricket aren't you Silence? In my experiences the hardest catches to take are the ones where you have to run with the ball, let alone run about 50 metres with the ball and nearly collide with the sight screen.

Maybe it just doesn't "look" as good because there wasn't a dive, but an all round better catch. IMO of course.
