Meh the Steve Waugh catch wasn't all that great a much better athlete would have made it look even easier. Very good catch yes but it doesn't have the sheer astonishment factor that a truly great catch has to have. I agree with others I think it is quite overrated.

They do, and it is a great catch don't get me wrong but you see plenty of guys taking catches around the boundary or at full stretch sprinting for the ball, that catch isn't an uncommon thing although his was at the top of that pile.

Not sure your argument about a better athlete making it look easier has any relevance though. That's like saying Usain Bolt would've made Billy Slater's Origin try look easier.
