Triple M’s Ben Dobbin joined NRL 360 to discuss trade whispers and other Queensland-related NRL news, revealing Darius Boyd had been cleared by the Broncos for a return.






“The club and the doctor have given him the all clear,” Dobbin said. “He is a month ahead of schedule.”
While Boyd could play as early as next week, Dobbin said it was likely the Broncos would hold him back before letting him rip against his old club.
“I’m hearing it will likely be the Knights in three weeks time,” Dobbin said.

Dobbo is a wanker. So this could be completely false.

I actually believe it's accurate and I'd say Boyd will still be two or three weeks away. I would have Boyd play twenty or so minutes in the ISC first, two weeks in a row. I know he is NRL quality and also he has nothing to prove but it's been 7/8 months since he has had a game and it would be a lower risk strategy . Of course there could be a counter view and it may be right.
