Can anyone tell me where Denan Kemp is? He is not on injured list or anywhere to be seen. Excuse me if I missed something I have been overseas for 8 weeks!!

He's still injured, mate.

His ribs are dodgy!

But he doesn't appear on website injury list....Just curious cause I thought he would be the replacment winger for Antonio next season!

i thought i read that he was playing in the under 20s or whatever reserve grade comp our other teams we have are in?

edit: found it.

"Props Scott Anderson and Ashton Sims will play for Norths against an Easts line-up featuring Lagi Setu and Denan Kemp on Sunday."

He's been named at fullback for the Easts Tigers this week, so hopefully he's 100% fit because he looked very tender last time he played.

Man, I look like a fool now.

You are right though I think Ning, I think he is still injured and ribs are still dodgy. He obviously wants to get back into it straight away though. He's a tough player if nothing else.

He reinjured the ribs playing for easts just 2 weeks ago - I hope he's not trying to come back before he's really ready. But he's a late call up for the Tigers - when the Q-Cup teams were initially released yesterday, he wasn't named (methinks some pressure was applied to the Tigers for him to play).

Not good, he should've just taken the right amount of time off.

Denan will NOT play for easts tomorrow against norths

Is he injured?? Maybe Winter has payed the price for his poor 1st half last night. I thought he made up for it in the 2nd half though so i dobut it!!!!

No way Winter will be dropped.
I reckon Kemp won't see first grade anytime soon.

He won't see it anytime soon cause his Injury has no time limit to heal. He probably won't play again this year. But if he does come back in the next month I can see him slotting back in. Winters not part of the team next year... Kemp will be.

Neither is Folau, Setu, Sims, etc.
I'm as big a fan of Kemp as anyone but is it worth changing your side a few games out of the finals unless it's for a star player like Lockyer, Hodges, Parker, etc.

I've wanted Kemp to get a shot all along but a few games out of the finals is a bit too late to be making changes, wingers are very important now and Winter hasn't done much wrong lately so no need to mess with that formula.
Winter is a junior at the club and I would rather we stick to the BEST team and forget about "loyalties" for now especially when we are in with a real shot at the premiership this year.

Winter is closer to a Junior Rooster then a Junior Bronco ;)

I'll say it a different way. If Kemp come back and is showing form in the Qcup say in the next 4 ish rounds IMO he might slot back in. If he gets better closer to finals I don't think he'll get a shot.

And Folau Setu and Sims don't have a gun player like the mighty Kempmister in the wings look down upon them.

If Kemp plays again this year I am going to bust a nut all over the place... It will be a yoghurt factory!
