It's baffled me why Kimmorley hasn't been the mainstay NSW halfback over the last few seasons.

+1. Whilst I think he isn't within daylight of JT, Prince or even Cronk, I never understood why NSW haven't been using him during their search for a new halfback since Johns retired. eusa_think

I remember the rumour's that he was blacklisted a few series ago and was never to play again, however some of the options they have tried instead of him are LOLZable (Mullen, Finch, Gower, The Myth Pearce).

Now that Brisbane have unearthed Wallace for NSW, no doubt he has to be first choice halfback. IMO Kimmorley after him, daylight third, then The Myth.

Yea, I have always rated Barrett until his last season in the NRL. However he was playing behind a shit pack and struggled, hardly much he can show in the halves.

Early days yet however Barrett seems to have matured A LOT, and could very well have the honour of standing under the posts looking depressed, wearing a blues jersey, after QLD score the winning try in Game 3 to win the record 4th series.
