Dragons V Roosters *SPOILER*

The Dragons are in the middle of a Broncos style slump and just don't look like getting out of it. Losing to the chooks today says it all. ( last leg of a very healthy all up for me )
If they continue with this form loss they will end up playing Manly or Storm away in a knockout.

It raises some interesting questions considering the the slumps we had to have and WB overseeing both sides. As big a fan of Bennetts as I am there is no denying the trend.

Any theories on the cause?

Well with the form the Rabbitohs and the Dragons are in, I'd rather go up against the Dragons in the finals so I'd rather us win to keep Souths out of the finals.

My god the Dragons are bad. Only scored due to the Sin Bin, which shouldn't have been a sin bin anyway. In fact, I believe the ref originally had no problem with it, until the touch judge butted in.
Either way, great news for us.

Great to see though, given how arrogant Dragons fans were earlier in the year.

Personally I think that WB is very good at getting players to perform above their natural ability and after while it they just can't sustain the effort.

For a side like the Storm who have 3 naturally gifted players who make the game that bit easier for the nuffies around them it's a little different, but for the Saints, who rely on a superior physical effort particularly from their forwards it must be hard to get up every week and play above yourself.

Players like Scott, Weyman, Merrin, Hunt, Green and Prior are good solid players but I believe all player beyond themselves which shows up after a couple of seasons and they just can't keep it up.

Loved Soward getting hooked. Muwahahaha. I think his low point was watching that ball bounce for Anasta to catch and flick pass out the back. Lol. WTF Soward.

Beau Scott & Ben Creagh were particularly bad yesterday also. Matt Prior was pretty awful too.

Dean Young and Ben Hornby played their guts out, and Nightingale & Cooper were good too. The rest were terrible. Darius losing the plot was amusing too, he was clearly frustrated.
