It will be a shock to the system for us though... we will have had Reynolds for at least 4yr and then Bhunt for 2yr... so two super experienced guys leading the team around and letting everyone else do their jobs.

Someone else will need to take that on after they finish up.

Hoping Barrett can upskill our halves coming through and it will be interesting to see how Coby develops in Qcup this year

Yep, that was kind of my point. Our replacements don't lack for talent and potential, but it's a MASSIVE experience gap, not to mention two very talismanic type players that we'll have to replace, and it almost wouldn't matter who we had on our books, those would still be huge shoes to fill.

I’ve always rated Brown, but this deal is insane from the Knights.

This working is completely dependent on not only Ponga staying, but at least having a good hooker and a decent halfback. Everyone in those positions at the Knights aren’t that (I still rate Gamble the best)

I also see Dyl getting into a lot of trouble up there. He’s already been in hot water in Sydney, but Newcastle is quite different with the one-team town aspect and everyone knowing everyone. Joey got away with it (sort of) because it was a different time and they were successful.

This will blow up by the 4th year at the absolute latest
