Hodgo is not a fullback. He's barely a back these days. Love the guy, but his strengths are off the mark strength, his competitiveness, dummy half running and his ability to get others over the line. He's not a fullback in the modern game.

It's fitting I suppose that in Griffin's last game as coach the team delivers a performance that gives us the the full myriad of **** ups we've experienced over the past 3 seasons since Locky retired.

Slow start? Check. Disjointed attack? Check check. Soft as butter defence? Of course.

My one hope is that the boys salvage some dignity in the second half and prevent an even worse blow out.

Far out. What a disappointment. Broncos may be doing the noble thing by avoiding the ugly wrestle craze, but it means the Cowboys are getting fast play the balls, and that's the difference. We look pathetic on their line because there is no attempt to hit the middle hard enough to create gaps or fast PTB's, where in contract the Cowboys look at the best options for fast plays, then throw it to their left before we can even get a metre off our line. We look like an under 20s team in the ruck, it is so disheartening.

Worst half of the season, simple as that.

Cows were always going to start strong and we just kept gifting them momentum. At 12-0 it was game over.

Brisbane are just playing too much catch-up football and aren't doing enough to earn it. The pressure has gotten to them and the leadership has been poor from everyone in the senior group.
