FOOTBALL English Premier League 23/24 Discussion

Bentancur is absolutely furious he's been subbed.

Kicked the chair lol.

De Bruyne is down and he is in agony.

He looks gooooone.

Aaaaand he's up. That should probably be a red for Sarr though. Studs on the achilles.

Ederson looks in a bad way. Motionless on the ground.

Romero given a yellow but this could be upgraded.

I want to see a replay.

I don't care if it's graphic.

Ederson being subbed.

He didn't look in a good way, I'm surprised they didn't make the change straight away.

They showed a replay.

Romero going for the ball and his hip making contact with Ederson's head who's diving for the ball.

Yellow fair enough. He's entitled to go for the ball.

**** Spurs should have scored there as well.

Oh my god.

Son one-on-one with the keeper from a City mistake and he puts in a weak ass shot. A player like him should have scored with ease.

That was their chance.

Spurs had their chances. They were well in that game.

No one else is winning the league with this City side.

They will just keep getting stronger and stronger.

PL is becoming like the French and German league.

PL is becoming like the French and German league.
I honestly believe it's been that way for a long time already. Roman's Chelsea changed the league entirely. It's been all City and Chelsea in the main. United had some good success in those year to be fair but otherwise there is not much else.

Cant really compare what Abramovich did at Chelsea with how the league is run these days because like when Citeh started moving up the ladder, they werent held back by FFP and PSR. Many clubs have the capablity to compete at the top, they just arent allowed. How it is now is the way the scumbag 6 clubs want things. They want a closed shop so they have little fear of more consistent competition.

While in some ways it appears like it is, its not really becoming like the German and French leagues. Look at the billions Chelsea and United have spent on players. Other teams can easily compete with Citeh on a financial level, they just need to stop being so shit when recruiting and get the right managers in. Arsenal and Liverpool have shown it can be done. Once teams get their act together there should be 5 or 6 , maybe even 7 or 8 teams capable of a title challenge.
