FOOTBALL English Premier League 23/24 Discussion

I'm ashamed to admit, but betting against Barca at decent odds was the easiest money I've ever made.

Manchester City have got so lucky there. Should have lost. Awful decision to overturn that pen imo. Obviously the attacker exaggerated it but theres no way they can say it was a clear and obvious refereeing error.

Southampton so unlucky.

City are very much short a striker and clearly had thought Kane was a certainity.

The calls for Sterling to be given the flick have gotten louder after this game.

Not the best performance.

It was a bit of theatrics from the attacker but that really should have been a penalty.

Really dissapointed with Wolves performance in the loss to Brentford. Looked toothless and had no answers to what Brentford were doing, who thoroughly deserved their victory.

As someone with Jiménez & Semedo in FPL, I agree.

Raul is really struggling after his fractured skull. Looks really low on confidence. We have played really well and been creating plenty of chances previously but every player seemed to just have a bad day on Saturday. They need to drop Traore imo. Very exciting player, but doesnt offer that much in reality.

Yeah I saw Raul ditch the head band after his missed header last night, you can tell it's still bothering him, if only on a sub-conscious level.

Completely agree about Traore. He's a freak athlete, and is great at beating his man, but wow, you'll struggle to find someone who makes more unforced errors per game. Some of his shots on goal and crosses are laughably off-target.

I think if Adama moved somewhere like Man City or Liverpool he would be great as an impact sub but he would never be a starter.

HT in Manchester United vs West Ham and Fred is killing me again... he makes the simple seem so difficult... we have played too slow for the most part and when we turned it up a little were testing Fabianski.

Big 2nd half..

McTominay with a ball to the face.

I can confirm, that fucking hurts. A lot.

Lingard and Sancho on, Greenwood and Pogba off.

Hopefully these two can create something.

Matic on for 30sec and does more than Fred did in 84mins.

Fred is an absolute spud

West Ham supporters were happy when Lingard came on.

I wonder how they feel now..
