FOOTBALL English Premier League 23/24 Discussion

BRUNO YOU HAD AN UNMARKED PLAYER IN THE BOX!

What. The. ****. Was. That. Martial?

I get it GK was a bit too forward but it's not fucking Rugby.

Half Time.

Brighton looked the better side for the first 20-25 minutes but Man United have started to settle into the game and have looked better the more the game has gone on.

A couple of good chances to score goals right before half time but execution was a bit off.

Just take the fucking shot Antony.

**** me. They get clean shots at goal but look for a pass.

Bit of a slow start to the second half for Man United.

Jesus Welbeck with the free header right in front of goal and they're fucking lucky it wasn't on target.

This game is going to go to penalties, I can see it coming a mile away.

And we're going to extra time.

***** sake. This is definitely going to penalties.

At this point I don't even fucking care if Brighton win. Just someone fucking score. I hate shootouts.

Taking Bruno off before penalties and bringing Weghorst on?

You've lost the fucking plot Ten Hag.

How is that not a second yellow for Mitoma?

We're going to lose this on penalties.

Let's face it, Man City are going to fucking annihilate us but it's a good effort to make it to the final.

Hopefully we'll have Varane and Garnacho back and we make it a contest. Man City have peaked at the right time of the season and they're on fire. They will likely win the treble.

Watching the replay of the shootout.

When it was 6-5 and Weghorst was walking up to the penalty box to take his shot, I was totally expecting us to lose it there and I imagine just about every single Man United fan was as well considering his difficulty in scoring goals this year especially close range when one-on-one with the keeper.

To everyone's surprise, he actually got it and Brighton miss their next shot then Lindelof steps up and wins it for us.

First time in FA Cup history a penalty shootout has gone beyond 10 goals apparently.

Catching up on results over the weekend.

Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal.. It seems like the effects of a long season is finally catching up to them. The League title is slipping away.. Yet another draw making it their third draw in a row and their next game is against Man City. Man City are behind on the ladder by 5 points but they have two games in hand.

This is a crucial game for them. In fact, the remaining games are crucial for them. IMO, they have to win all of them if they're going to win the League title because Man City have peaked at the right time and they're on fire.

Newcastle flogging Tottenham 6-1 lol. I guess that helps Man United.

I'm not an Arsenal fan by any means but it is sad, they are the new kid on the block as a front runner and it would have been good to see them win this title.

The Man City game is basically everything for this title, a Draw would even be a win for them at this stage but a win I think is required imo if they want to win the title with the form they are on.

Tottenham have sacked Cristian Stellini after their 6-1 loss to Newcastle.
