FOOTBALL English Premier League 23/24 Discussion

I don't think we'll get Kirkez, unfortunately he's just too good.

Bournemouth will demand 50-60mil and that's not a price FSG will be willing to pay for a LB.

Our sweet spot is 30-40mil. Hato is that guy
I'm hopeful we'll be able to get him with some add-ons that eventually come off. He's 21 and already prem proven, you can get close to a decade out of him if we strike this summer.

Mainoo has been struggling in the midfield this season but he gets moved to 10 for our Europa League game and has a MOTM performance.

A goal (should have been two) and an assist. He looked a lot more free playing the 10 role which can only be a good thing for us.

I would be interested to keep him there for our next PL match and see how he goes.

If these fucking morons go anywhere near Pogba, I swear....

Why would anyone go anywhere near this idiot. Mind you, if there is one club thats going to sign this bluffer, its United. United fans thinking he will do a decent job and he will have something to prove are as delusional as all the NRL coaches who thought they could turn around the Coal Train and get him to play to his potential.

I'll tell you who is seriously good though - Alvaro Carreras. With the Dorgu move it probably eliminates any chance you reactivate the buy back option from Benfica. He's someone LFC are being linked to and I'd love if we can convince him to join (unlikely).

From my understanding, United have a very favourable sell-on clause included. I think they've seen his trajectory and banking on him being sold and then Amorim uses what we get from that to buy his top target.

Going to suck seeing him do well for Villa, but he needed to go so glad he is going.

Going to be interesting to see how he gets on. He seems to not want to be a footballer these days. His attitude at times has been awful, but he's a quality player if he is focused.

Rashford to Villa here we go.

70% salary covered by Villa with a buy option for £40 million.

Now let’s go for Tel from Bayern. He’s reportedly keen to join United. We had to wait until either Rashford or Casemiro left before we could seriously go for him.

Villa are crazy, dude doesnt want to put in for his boyhood club, why would he put in for a club thats a massive step down in prestige?

He'll probably play a belter against United and that'll keep him at the club come summertime.

As for the Tel transfer, sounds like another rasmus situation

We need depth.

Tel can play as a striker and a winger, two positions we desperately need depth in. With Anthony and Rashford gone, if we lose either Garnacho or Amad to injury, we're fucked. If we lose either Rasmus or Zirkzee to injury, we're fucked.

He's available on a loan which is all we can afford at the moment and he won't cost much. Amorim sees something in him.

We can go for someone better in the summer when we have money to spend.

Thats kind of my thinking. If you cant bust a gut for the club you support, what hope is there. When you look at some of the things he's done like lying about being ill while being at a night club in Dublin, it shows he doesnt have a great deal of respect for either the game or who he plays for. Its incredibly selfish, which kind of flies in the face of all the good things he's done off the field in England where he hasnt put himself first at all.

Tel is wanting starter minutes, doubt If the offer even mentions depth role, United remain in the conversation.

I like the player, but he is another young attacker hoping to achieve his potential. We have enough of those right now.

Club should be looking at more of a sure thing, 10/15 goals if they are truly in the market.

If its loan only, no obligation to buy, it is what it is. But if he comes in, gets thrown at striker with little to no service, not going to move the needle much. He'll be thrown around by the CBs in this league.

If the idea is strictly to play him left or right 10, I think he could work, but then you still need a striker anyways.
