Not too disappointed in our performance, but i'm not sure how we got so many bookings that first half while Liverpool constantly fouled us in the transition.AlrightWolfie.
Good effort in the second half from your lads. Not to take anything away from Wolves, but we were dire.
Still, things are looking up a bit, we got a VAR decision go our way!

3 different tiers in European competitions.
Champions League;
Most prize money, larger pot means all teams participating earn a lot more money. Each European league has a number of teams that qualify based on league position. Prem for years has been top 4 get Champions League, could be top 5 this season.
Europa;
Less money, usually the next 2 spots on the table down for qualification. Winner of Europa league gets a spot in the next Champions league if they didn't qualify via league table position. Very different this year as no teams from the Champions League dropped down after the group stage.
Conference;
Less money again.
Rough estimates;
UEFA has outlined the distribution of funds for this campaign and the share for clubs participating in the Champions League league phase onwards equates to €2.437 billion.
The share for Europa League clubs accounts to €565 million while the share is €285m in the Conference League.

Thanks for that. I was confused about the qualifying part and teams dropping down between the 2. But it makes sense now.

Gotcha. Yeah this is the first season where teams don't drop into the comp below anymore. As they've moved to the league format rather than pools.
It 'should' allow for some unique winners in Europa and Conference.

Still needed to buy a striker in the January window to be a chance IMO.

Drawn up against Sociedad.
Don't think we'll even make it beyond the Round of 16 with the injuries we have now. Our only real hope is if Chido Obi hits the ground running and what's the likelihood of that?
It would also be great if Garnacho doesn't keep ignoring Dorgu's overlapping runs.
