FOOTBALL English Premier League 25/26 Discussion

Edit, its an OG. Either way, we take it

Thats a disappointing draw.

I have no issue with Maguire penalty or red, I would want both if that was on us, but the non penalty on Amad, for them to go the length and score I just can't agree with.

Better than a loss but 3 weeks til next game now..

That man u bloke is never getting a haircut again

And this is the problem with Carrick's playing style.

It's the inconsistency.

If he does get the job, I hope his current playing style is just one he's using just to attempt to lock up Champions League.

He's got a team selection problem too.

Mbuemo isn't a striker. Isn't happy at striker, and for weeks hasn't been working at striker, when we have a fit and on form striker on the bench.

Mbuemo needs to be playing in Amad's spot.

Yeah I don't get this.

Prior to Carrick, Mbeumo was arguably our best player. He was doing a good job on the wing. Then Carrick comes along and sticks him up front because he has no faith in Sesko and his performances have dropped as a result.

Meanwhile Cunha is being used a winger and he's not playing all that well.

Not really sure what the answer is. Cunha isn't working on the wing but then if you play Cunha in the 10, Bruno goes back to the midfield which wasn't working. It's a problem that needs attention.

By all reports the buy clause for Rashford is going to be activated. Hojlund with the obligation to buy. Their clubs are pretty happy with them. Use that money to buy another ****ing striker.

Tell you what, I would love for us to bring Welbeck back.

35 years old and still proving to be a solid option up front. He seems to have found another level in the past couple of seasons. Could be a good foil for Sesko and he would be cheap.

I would take Harry Kane as well but his price tag is too much.

But we seem to have this obsession to not sign anyone over the age of 25 and then wonder why we have a lack of leadership.

This game should have been killed off by Brighton by now. Liverpool barely hanging in there.

1 minute and 20 seconds over the 6 minutes and the ref finally blows full time...

Good result for United after dropping points.

First time we have lost 10 PL games since 15/16 under Rodgers, that team finished 8th.

This is about the lowest we have been as a club since the Hodgson days. I can't remember ever being so fed up with a manager and the tactics.

The only respite this season is we actually look a decent team in UCL. We won't win it but its nice to see the occasional reminder just how bloody good these players still are. It's absolute negligence by the ownership to let this manager carry on.

Slots days are numbered. Only a CL victory will save him imo and with PSG next it'll be a miracle if we get past them.
