FOOTBALL English Premier League 25/26 Discussion

Its a massive gamble, not saying its wrong because whats the difference between 14th and 17th?

But shit, if you dont win it then theres absolutely nothing even remotely redeeming about this season. I guess maybe bringing through some of your kids and the likes of diallo gives you hope for a positive rebuild.

For clubs struggling for money like United the difference between 14th and 17th place is almost £9 million which is a fair chunk of running costs for most of the teams in the top flight considering only West Ham ( basically because they have a government funded stadium ) and Brentford are the only 2 clubs to make a post tax profit in the last decade.

Obviously, they are gambling now on Champions league to make up for that lost premier league prize money. Its probably a sensible move.

"clubs struggling for money"... meanwhile being linked to big money signings. :rofl

I've said it a million times, the entire culture of that club and the desperation for big names rather than smart business is going to be the end of them.

Palace dominating Villa really in this semi. 2 up, with a missed penalty too..

Need Forest to do the job tomorrow too

That's a ****ing red.

Cas and Bruno have received a red for the exact same thing.

The old he got the ball defenders of that challenge I'm sure would be perfectly fine with Salah, Saka or Foden copping that challenge. Wouldn't even be a question, the red would be straight out.

Doesn't excuse the putrid defending on the back of terribly trying to play out from the back off the free kick though.

They give a red for that one where he slips. Makes no sense.

I feel that was VAR realizing they ****ed up on the first one and making up for it. Both of them should have been red really instead of just one.

Then Dorgu gets booked for getting kicked lol.

Maguire is brought down by Semenyo in the box and denied a chance to compete for the ball from a corner that he would have been able to reach had Semenyo not brought him down.

The officials today were a farce.

But you said previous page that United don't care about the prem anymore this season.

That result shouldn't matter. No need to get upset with refs etc

Congrats to Liverpool, definitely the best team across the season.

11 more to go! 😘

Incompetence will always frustrate me regardless of the importance of the match.
