Was it a buyout fee or negotiated fee?
Teams know they can milk united dry, they don't even seem to try with other teams.
Even Cherki, some of the numbers thrown around when United was apparently interested were outrageous compared to what he is apparently going to City for.

Negotiated by the look of it. One thing that wouldnt surprise me though is we pick up one or two of their fringe players for under market value. We havent held out for more money that he is probably worth, especially as we have to pay Angers 50% or buy out his clause for about 8.5 million, so a bit like how we got Tommy Doyle from them for 4 million i wouldnt be surprised if we had a similar deal lined up. We seem to have a good relationship with the blue side of Manchester.

Hope we're actually working on outgoings too. Just don't wanna see the Sancho and Rashfords of the world on pre season.
Seen that Garna to Napoli is likely to be announced later this month apparently, would like to see something concrete on at least Rashy and Sancho, and to know if there is interest in Antony. We're going to be stuck with Case one more year so not even bothering to care about interest in him. Have seen there is Italian interest in Hojlund too, but have my doubts.

Rashford is pushing for a move to Barca and will even take a pay cut. He’s willing to wait until the end of the window for it so we’ll see what happens there but Barca are apparently very keen on him and Diaz won’t be leaving Liverpool so the chances of a sale have increased.
The one issue with that though is whether Barca will have the financial ability to do it. I read an article recently that they were facing being docked points due to their financial troubles.
There’s interest in Antony. Ten Hag reportedly wants him at Leverkusen and there’s a couple of other clubs interested. I think he would take a pay cut to leave just to be playing football. His time at Betis brought back his love for the game and Amorim made it clear that he’s not in his plans. I can see him going, but I think we’ll just break even on that one.
Sancho is arguably the most tricky one. He wants the wages he’s earning here and while Saudi have shown interest, I doubt we’ll see that eventuate.
Garna definitely going this window. It’s just undecided whether it’s going to be Napoli or Chelsea.
I believe there is interest in Hojlund as well from a couple of clubs.
We need outgoings to sign more players such as a GK and midfielder so I think the club will be pushing to get those done as quick as possible.

Crystal Palace set to be banned from Europa League.
John Textor has a 43% stake in Palace and he also owns Lyon. He has tried to put his shares into a blind trust but the deadline for that was March 1. Now he's trying to sell off his stake at a cut-price deal so Palace can play in Europe.

He is reportedly set to receive an $8.3 million payout as he still had 2 years to run on his contract ... plus a $4.2 million bonus for winning the Europa League

Its going to be Frank, and apparently, Mbeumo is the man he wants for his first signing. Would be a very appealing move for Mbeumo. Staying with a manager he likes and who knows how to get the best out of him, plus moving to Spurs means he gets to stay in London so less upheaval.
